This native New Zealand Pied Shag (Karuhiruhi / Kawau) is a permanent fixture at Lochmara Lodge in the Marlborough Sounds. He is often spotted either sunning himself on the shore with other family members that have joined him, or hunting for food around the Lodge's underwater observatory.
The Wild Honey Art brand reproduces images by Nikki McIvor onto prints, cards and homewares like tea towels, reusable grocery bags and jute tote bags. Our aim - objects that are lovely to use, ecologically responsible and made to last.
In keeping with our locally-made ethos, our cards are produced just 3km from our base and our envelopes are made by a craftsman just outside of Wellington. They are wrapped in a cellophane wrapper, which is wood-pulp based.
All our products are ecologically friendly and we do everything we can to minimise packaging and plastic.
