So Long and Thanks for all the Fish © 2016
Coloured pen, coloured pencil and acrylic
This is what Nikki has to say about the artwork "So Long and Thanks For All the Fish":
“Meet Clyde the River Otter. Clyde was a famous, or rather infamous Otter, who lived at Wellington Zoo. in 2000, he was relocated to a private zoo for 'wayward animals' in Australia after one too many escapes resulted in him being found hiding in a Wellington apartment for nearly a week. 'So Long and Thanks For All the Fish' seems a fitting title for this little rascal."
The Wild Honey Art brand reproduces images by Nikki McIvor onto prints, cards and homewares like tea towels, reusable grocery bags and jute tote bags. Our aim - objects that are lovely to use, ecologically responsible and made to last.
In keeping with our locally-made ethos, our cards are produced just 3km from our base and our envelopes are made by a craftsman just outside of Wellington. They are wrapped in a cellophane wrapper, which is wood-pulp based.
All our products are ecologically friendly and we do everything we can to minimise packaging and plastic.
