Harry the Hare, as he is affectionately known, came out of my continuing fascination with the rabbits that inhabit our golden fields and hills. I love exploring what their emotions would be if they were more human: anthropomorphising, I suppose. When I regard Harry, I can't help feeling that despite his dashing good looks he is slightly withdrawn from the normal goings-on of rabbit life, faithfully pining for a lost love.
Wild Honey Art reproduces images by Nikki McIvor onto prints, cards and homewares like tea towels, reusable grocery bags and linen napkins. Our aim - objects that are lovely to use, ecologically responsible and made to last.
Harry the Hare Card
In keeping with our locally-made ethos, our cards are produced just 3km from our base and our envelopes are made by a craftsman just outside of Wellington. They are wrapped in a cellophane wrapper, which is wood-pulp based.
All our products are ecologically friendly and we do everything we can to minimise packaging and plastic.
