Bob the Hare is wearing a pounamu Toki, which is associated with strength.
He is gathering his courage to go into the forest, leaving the open grasslands that are his habitat. Into the Trees is inspired by the song “A Forest” by the Cure.
The Wild Honey Art brand reproduces images by Nikki McIvor onto prints, cards and homewares like tea towels, reusable grocery bags and jute tote bags. Our aim - objects that are lovely to use, ecologically responsible and made to last.
Forest Hare Card
In keeping with our locally-made ethos, our cards are produced just 3km from our base and our envelopes are made by a craftsman just outside of Wellington. They are wrapped in a cellophane wrapper, which is wood-pulp based.
All our products are ecologically friendly and we do everything we can to minimise packaging and plastic.
